Raptor migration

Been such a long time since i update this blog. On 15th November 08,i was at my wife's house in Alor Setar,Kedah. Manage to witness the amazing raptors southern migration. I started the count at 9am and ended at 3pm. At first it was quite slow, only japanese sparrowhawk passing through in small flock. At 12.30,i stopped for a while to take my lunch. At 12.30pm when i went out of the house, there's a big flock of 270 black baza soaring in the sky! Amazing view!

And the flocks keeps on coming till i got headache counting them. At the end of the count, total of 2000 plus raptors we sighted.
