Langkawi 110918

This is the bird i've been trying to locate a few times during my visit to Langkawi. Finally i got it...
Thanks to Dr Norhayati Ahmad for lending me her Sigma 150-500mm lens. It appears to be quite a sharp lens. I may need to save up and get it in future..huhu :(

Anyway, the boatman and guide told us that this bird can be easily seen if you come early in the morning at Kilim mangrove, at around 8 to 9 a.m. But make sure you check the tide,if it is too low, then the boat will stuck...

Some other birds, a pair of white bellied sea eagle,

I was lucky it decided to mate while i got my camera pointing at them...

 A subadlut, maybe 3rd year?
Mangrove pit viper, resting on the mangrove root...
 Brahminy kite,
 A juvenile,
Thanks all for viewing.

The sea eagle is not 3rd year. This is very young bird. Probably 1st year advance but still no moutling yet therefore it cannot be 2nd year. Probably just fledge about 4 month
